1.	I. In integrated science we were given a project that we needed to do “the balloon car.” The materials to make the car that we were given a piece of paper, a balloon, a rubber band, tape, caps of some kind, straws, little orange sticks, and a piece of hose. We could make any modifications that might be needed to make the car go faster and go farther than the rest.
II. We took a green piece of paper that was 7 ½ inches by 4 ¾ inches. We cut the long side at 1 inch in and 1 inch down form the corner. Then we folded up the side and taped them there so they would stay. After this we had to modify the axels because the measurement was too small for my car. Then we taped two of the axels. Then we attached the wheels to the axels, and then we attached the axels to the body of the car. When we were we notices that we had to build a box to mount the balloon on. We took some scissors and made a small incision in the back of my car. Then proceeded to attach the balloon to the hose with a rubber band and tape. Then after everything we were ready to test the car.
III. The results of the balloon cars:
People Weight (grams) Time to 20ft (seconds) Distance (ft) Speed of cars (ft per sec)
Andrew\ 21.48 8.75 48 2.3
Luis\ 21.16 6.18 N/A 3.2
Cory\ 24.53 6.31 36 3.2
Jaron\ 22.65 6.21 36 3.2
Ruben\ 33.24 4.75 36 4.2
Tyler\ 36.52 6.40 40 3.1
Rosa\ 25.30 N/A N/A N/A
Arron\ N/A 7.40 21 2.7
Ever\ N/A N/A N/A N/A
Macrina\ N/A N/A N/A N/A
VI. The results were a little disappointing for some. If the cars had been lighter, and if we had bigger balloons than the cars would of gone farther and faster. The project was fun and we enjoy doing a balloon car.

This time in intergraded science we did a project called a balloon car. This project was a lot of fun because we were competing against our class mates on who’ s car was the fastest and went the farthest in distance, we each got the instructions handed out by Mr. Kerr, we had to follow the instructions and make a balloon car. Each person could modify their cars the ways that they would like. My car was made out of construction paper. I followed the directions just as I was supposed too. I put the balloon and the tube but the car was not as fast as I though the car would be. So I modified it a little bit. I put a larger tube on my car, I knew that it would let air out quicker but I knew that it would make it fast and with the speed that I caught that I would take it the distance. I was right about one thing it did make my car fast but it did not take it very far. My car did real good it ended up being the fastest car in my class and it did go 36 feet was the average for the class. In all this project was pretty cool and I liked it. i hope that one day we can do it again

Balloon Car
In our 2nd period integrated science class we made balloon cars. It was an individual project. First were given a piece of construction paper with the instructions to build a balloon car. We were also given examples of how to build the car. After we had received instructions and examples we began our cutting and assmbly of our cars. Our cars would be weighed, timed, and measured to see how for they would go.

To begin I measured my red piece of construction paper to make the frame of my car. Then I cut out the frame out of the construction paper and folded the sides to assemble the frame. After I assembled the frame I began to assemble the axles the tube were the balloon would be to let the air out to push the car. In the entire project was a success.

Balloon Car	Wt.(g)	Sec./20feet D(ft)
Andrew	21.48	8.75	48
Luis	21.16	6.18	N/A
Cory	24.53	6.31	36
Jaron	22.65	6.21	36
Ruben	33.24	4.75	36
Tyler	36.52	6.4	40
Rosa	25.3	N/A	N/A
Aaron	20.39	7.4	21

At the end of the project my results were that my car weighed 21.48 grams, it went 20 feet in 8.75 sec, and in the overall distance it went 48 feet. The strengths of my car were that it was a light weight car. The weakness was the amount of air leavings the balloon. My car was different from other cars because other cars would curve in the direction they were going.

BALLON CAR

In our 2nd period Integrated Science class we had to build a balloon car what we doing first is Mr. Kerr give as a paper instructions and them he give as a paper to measure the things and then cut it I cut the corners of the paper two inches in on the long sides of the paper. And then the car we need to measure inside the paper to cut it to form the cage of the car and we put tape on the sides to not the sides of the car stand up the sides of the car and them we put the tires with tape and we need to put tape at the tires because the tires can got off and then we do the tope one to put the balloon and my balloon car weight 21.16 and in 20 feet meters my car do 6.18 and then we going to the gym and see what car going more faster in 20 meters and the car of Ruben runs more faster and then we finish the balloon car.

I. in the class of int. science we going to discuss a project and we found what project will be and project was to do a balloon car. And first he give as a instructions how build a balloon car and he explain as how to do it he says that we need to fallow the instructions to find how do a balloon car and is what we do and we do the balloon car.

II. What we do when we are doing the balloon car he give as a paper so we can get the measures and when he give that he give as a paper to we can put the measured and then cut it when we did that we double the sides of the paper and then put some tape on it when we do that we put the tires with pipe and we put some tape on both sides to the tire not take out and when we did that we put the thing up to put the balloon with a pipe and then we put some air inside that the balloon car run faster.

IV. The car who run fast is the car of Ruben and I want to compare with the car of Tyler because the car of Tyler weight more that every car and the next one who weight more is that car of Ruben so I want to compare those two cars.

III. Balloon car WT(g) D(ft) Sec/20ft

Balloon Car Project
I will write about the balloon car project. First they were given the instructions on how to build the balloon cars. It was a short project, but I think it was fun project. I think they don’t take to much time to complete the project.
The first step I think it was to put attention to Mr. Kerr. The second step it’s to read the instruction carefully for to know what you are going to do, and know you are going to do it right. The third step was to cut the paper. Then to cut out the chassis then fold up the sides on the chassis and tape up the sides. After that they taped the axle straight using the lines on the chassis. I think it was a very interesting thing to make the car. They took a diagram and measured it to know what the measurement of the car was to build the frame of it.
Some of the tools they need to have are hub, axel, wheel, bearing, masking tape, scissors, ballpoint pen, and chassis pattern. They have to put some lines in to the paper then they have to cut the line outer lines. Then they have to use the pen to draw a heavy line they have to press the pen to make the thing fold very well. Then they have to put some masking tape for to attach all the flaps inside the chassis. Then they have to put some tape, then they have to line up an axle bearing so the can make extends more, and they have to put some tape. After that they have to push an axel into the hub of the wheel then insert the stick into the axel bearing. They have to put the wheel into the end of the axel. I think it was a fun project.
Balloon Car lot (g) Sec/20ft D (ft)
Andrew 21.48 8.75 48
Luis 21.16 6.18 36 (max)
Cory 24.53 6.31 36 (max)
Jaran 22.65 6.21 36 (max)
Ruben 33.24 4.75
Tyler 36.52 6.4 40
Rosa 25.3
Arron 20.39 7.40 21
Andrew 2.2sec/20ft
Cory 3.1sec/20ft
Arron 2.7sec/20ft
Jaran 3.2sec/20ft
Ruben 4.2sec/20ft
Tyler 0.5sec/20ft
I think all the people who did this think that it was fun. The largest balloon car was Ruben’s, because it was more seconds per 20ft, his car get 4.2sec/20ft. The person who was close to it was Jaran car, he get 3.2sec/20ft. The last one was Tyler because he get 0.5sec/20ft. But I think it was fun for every one. The strengths were Ruben, Jaran, and Cory. The weaknesses were Tyler, Andrew, and Arron.

BALLOON CAR

I.	The balloon car was given to us as a project that we needed to do in integrated science. To make the car we were given a piece of paper, a balloon, a rubber band, tape, caps of some kind, straws, little orange sticks, and a piece of hose. We could make any modifications that we needed that we thought would make the car go faster and go farther than the rest.
II.	I took a green piece of paper that was 7 ½ inches by 4 ¾ inches. I cut the long side at 1 inch in and 1 inch down form the corner. I proceeded to do this three more times. I then folded up the side and taped them there so they would stay. After this I had to modify the axels because the measurement that was called for was too small for my car. I taped two of the axels together and it worked well. As soon as I was done with that I then attached the wheels to the axels then I attached the axels to the body of the car. When I finished doing this I saw that I had to build a box to mount the balloon on. Well I wasn’t going to do that, instead I took some scissors and made a small incision in the back of my car. I then proceeded to attach the balloon to the hose with a rubber band and some tape. Finally I slipped the tube thru the incision that I had made earlier and then tapped it in. I was ready to test the car.
III.	These were the results of the balloon cars:

People	Weight (grams)	Time to 20ft (seconds)	Distance (ft)	Speed of cars (ft per sec)

Andrew	21.48	8.75	48	2.3
Luis	21.16	6.18	N/A	3.2
Cory	24.53	6.31	36	3.2
Jaron	22.65	6.21	36	3.2
Ruben	33.24	4.75	36	4.2
Tyler	36.52	6.40	40	3.1
Rosa	25.30	N/A	N/A	N/A
Arron	N/A	7.40	21	2.7
Ever	N/A	N/A	N/A	N/A
Macrina	N/A	N/A	N/A	N/A

VI. The results were a little disappointing to me but hey that’s what you get from a balloon car you know. If the cars had been lighter and if we had bigger balloons than we would have gotten a car that would go farther and faster than the ones that we built. The only problem with the faster balloon cars are that they lose there stability and kind of go a little hay wire.

Balloon Car
In my second hour Integrated Science class, we are making a balloon car. We got a diagram to follow to show us to make the frame and the axels of the car. It seems very simple to follow. We have to test them to see how fast they go, and how heavy they were, and how many seconds it takes to go about 21 feet.
We had to cut the lines at the corners, and we had to be careful that we didn’t cut too far. We used a ballpoint pen to draw a very heavy, deep line over each of the dotted fold lines. We had to fold down the four sidewalls on the scored lines; we made sure that the axle lines are showing on the outside of the chassis (frame). We used a small piece of tape to attach all the flaps inside the chassis.
When I got done building my car, I had to make a test run. We got to one side of the room and blew up our balloon and let them go to see how long it would take to go 21ft or if it would even go that far. My cars first run made it 21ft in 7.40 seconds. The weight of my car was 20.39g.
The strength of my car was that it had enough weight to go fast and far enough. One of my weaknesses was that my tube on my balloon was crooked, so my car would turn in circles the whole time and would not go in a straight line. One of the other weaknesses was that my balloon was not all the way attached to my tube so too much air came out at once so my car would not go very far. I compare my car to Tyler’s car, my car was a lot lighter than his so it did not go as far, and his went straight because his tube was straight.

Balloon Car

I.	Introduction
In our second hour integrated science we built a balloon car. First we read the directions on how to put the car together.
II.	Describe Construction
First we cut out the chassis from the paper that Mr. Kerr gave us. Unlike the rest of the class I didn’t copy it on to stronger paper I just used it like it was, and I think that it help me in the long run. Then we taped the sides up and taped on the axle housing trying to make them as straight as possible. Third I built the plat form for the balloon to sit on then taped itdown
III.	Table of Results
Names	Wt (g)	Sec/20 ft	Distance(ft)
Andrew	21.48	8.75	48
Luis	21.16	6.18	36(max)
Cory	24.53	6.31	36(max)
Jaron	22.65	6.21	65
Ruben	33.24	4.75	36(max)
Tyler	36.52	6.4	40
Rosa	25.3	0	0
Arron	25.39	7.40	21
Ever	0	0	0
Macerina 0	0	0

IV.	Discussion of Results
The strengths and the weaknesses of these cars is if you have a bigger tube it will push out the air faster then it would with a littler tube. But with the little tube the car would go farther but not as fast. The bigger the car or the heavier the car is the slower it would go also. I am comparing my car to Corys car because we built our cars similar to each others. There were a couple of differences between them also like I made my car out of regular paper and he made his out of construction paper. We both built a box to mount our balloon to and used the same size of tube. My car came out a little better then his though, and I think that it was because of the paper we used.
